DR. GARY SAPIENZA

 I have to ask myself,  what would  you  want to know about me?

Like most dentists, I graduated from dental school, went to work for someone and  eventually became the owner of a private practice. Blah, blah, blah.

If I told you I was a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry what would that mean to you?  If I let it slip I am a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists what does that mean? It sounds more like a political association than a dental one.

You know, recently I got a notice in the mail, informing me that I was voted one of the best dentists in the United States!  I was so honored, I thought I would be meeting the President; that is, until I found out every other dentist in the United States was bestowed the same honor - as long as you bought a plaque from the company giving out the award. Life is funny that way.

Seriously,  I live and practice in picturesque Merchantville, located in the heart of South Jersey.  I love to spend time with my family; I have been married for twenty something years to a wonderful wife, Rochelle, and we have two great daughters, Gabrielle and Paige.  My family is active in its church.  I enjoy supporting my community and local schools. Throughout the year, I am involved with several charitable fund raisers.  (Oh yeah, and my favorite food group is peanut butter.)  Above all else, I would like the opportunity to meet you!

 

 ROCHELLE SAPIENZA, Registered Dental Hygienist

Aside from being Gary's wonderful wife for twenty something years, Rochelle is also one of our hygienists.  When she isn't cleaning teeth in her especially gentle manner, you can find her at one of her daughter's softball games or out gardening.

 

ROBIN MARTINOVICH, Certified Dental Assistant

Robin has been a patient of Dr. Sapienza's for twenty years.  Gary helped Robin through her fear of dentistry so much that she started working for him as his Scheduling Coordinator in 2002.  For the past three years, Robin has been Gary's extra pair of hands working as his Assistant.  She now has the pleasure of assisting patients who share her same dental fears.

 

CASEY COLEMAN, Front Desk Office Manager

 

Casey has been a valuable part of our team since 2005.  He began as the Financial Coordinator and is now our Front Desk Office Manager.  Our patients love Casey because he explains to them any insurance questions and helps find comfortable financial options for their dentistry.  He and his wife, Janine, live in nearby Cherry Hill with their beautiful daughters, Francesca and Penelope.  When not spending time with his family, Casey trains for marathons.

 

GAIL SORIN, Registered Dental Hygienist

Gail has worked in the dental field for over 23 years, first as a dental assistant then as a hygienist.  Gail has a warm personality and is known for being a thorough hygienist with a soft touch.  Since moving to New Jersey thirteen years ago, Gail enjoys raising her family and working part-time for Dr. Sapienza.

 

DIANE BINDIG, Assistant Scheduling Coordinator

Diane has been an invaluable part-time team member since 2007.  When she isn't helping us schedule patients, she works as a substitute teacher for the Pennsauken school district and enjoys spending time with her family.  She and her husband, Peter, have four lovely daughters and are blessed with five adorable grandchildren.
